If you missed the finish at the 2020 Workday Charity Open in Dublin, Ohio at the Muirfield Village Golf Club this past weekend, Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas brought the excitement on the final day of the tournament. In fact, it was so exciting, they even had Rickie Fowler on top of a hill filming the final round on his phone!
After watching Thomas sink a 50-foot birdie putt in the first playoff hole, Collin Morikawa did not waver and drowned a 24-foot birdie of his own, to keep the playoff round going.
To be honest, Thomas seemed to have been rattled by Morikawa’s comeback putt, as he later drove his tee shot on the 3rd playoff hole behind a tree, which forced him to chip out and pray for a “closest to the pin” type shot to have a chance to keep the playoffs going.
However, Morikawa eventually made PAR on the 3rd hole of the playoff round and captured the 2020 Workday Charity Open.
Bring on Tiger Woods who won the Memorial in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2009 and 2012 which was founded by Jack Nicklaus in 1976, is currently listed at +2609 to win this weekend’s 2020 Memorial Tournament which was supposed to be played in June but was moved to July 13-19 due to the coronavirus.
According to Bookmaker.eu, Bryson Dechambeau is the favorite to win the 2020 Memorial Tournament at +1000. If you are new to golf betting, that means bettors who place a $100 wager on Dechambeau to win, would receive a $1000 payout at Bookmaker.eu.
